Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, under the supervision of Dr. Robert Saenz, LPC-S
Andra is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, under the supervision of Dr. Robert Saenz, LPC-S, who is committed to offering insightful, compassionate, and client-centered care. She brings a broad and diverse range of experience to her work, shaped by both her personal history and professional journey. Coming from a family with a strong tradition of military service, Andra carries a deep appreciation for service members and their families and feels called to support them.
Her path toward counseling has been influenced by meaningful life experiences, including working with youth in the juvenile detention system, volunteering with therapeutic riding programs, engaging in community outreach, and serving as a caregiver for a loved one navigating physical challenges and dementia. These experiences have strengthened her dedication to walking alongside others through difficult seasons of life.
Andra works with preteens through adults, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and person-centered approaches to equip and empower clients to take an active role in their healing. She supports individuals facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, anger, and personal growth, and provides Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD as well as other trauma-informed treatments. She also has experience in group counseling for betrayed partners and dementia caregivers.
Guided by her Christian faith, Andra honors the inherent worth of every person, approaching her work with compassion, dignity, and respect. She has been married to her husband for more than 27 years and is the mother of two young adult sons. In her free time, she enjoys reading, learning, sports, games, time in nature, and being with family and friends.
Andra received her Bachelor of Business Studies from Dallas Baptist University and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She completed her counseling internship under the supervision of Patty McGinnis, LPC-S, founder of Bridge of Hope Counseling.
