Alan Rogers,

Recovery Life Coach

Alan Rogers serves as an Independent Professional Life Coach at Bridge of Hope Waxahachie. He brings over 48 years of vocational ministry experience, walking alongside thousands of students, adults, and couples. Having also served as a Recovery Pastor for 15 years, Alan possesses a deep passion for supporting individuals facing addictions, trauma, and complex life anxieties.

Alan operates from the core belief that every single person is born with immense worth. He understands how easily life's struggles can overwhelm and derail us. Through a combination of focused accountability, intentional support, and professional strategies, Alan helps his clients find restoration, healing, and true peace for their minds and hearts.

About Alan

Alan has been happily married for 48 years. He has three married adult children and nine grandchildren who are the absolute joy of his life. Outside of his coaching practice, Alan loves spending time outdoors—landscaping, mowing, and cooking on his smoker. More than anything, Alan finds his ultimate fulfillment in helping people live their best lives, whether they are members of his own family or the clients he has the privilege to coach.

Understanding Life Coaching

Many people wonder how coaching differs from traditional therapy. While clinical counseling at Bridge of Hope focuses on navigating emotional upheaval, processing negative emotions, and treating mental health conditions, Life Coaching focuses on the present and the future.

Coaching is a forward-moving, goal-oriented partnership designed to help you build actionable strategies, break through personal roadblocks, and maintain long-term accountability.

(Note: Because life coaching focuses on future strategy rather than clinical therapy, it is a non-clinical service and is typically not covered by health insurance plans.)
